My Review:
I bought this shampoo a few months ago having expecting great things after falling in love with the ORS HAIRepair Nourishing Conditioner. It's a white slightly thick consistency and the smell of the Rosemary and mint smells amazing but this is where my love for this product unfortunately ends!
I have used this shampoo at least ten times and have used with and without prepooing. The first time I used this shampoo three months ago I lathered twice and noticed I had what looked like gooey build up in to the crown area of my roots and so decided to lather again. I was majorly disappointed to find the unwanted residue still there so pulled out my staple surface free shampoo and only had to lather once for my hair to feel clean and how it should be.
I put this experience down to me being on the coconut oil challenge and as I was on the advanced level, I was oiling my scalp 2-3 times a week with it and attributed this as the cause of the shampoo failing to clean my hair.
Since this experience I have tried to love this shampoo and tried and tried and tried.... And failed miserably! Every time I use this shampoo to wash my hair, I am left with white dots of build up residue to the roots of my hair and end up pulling out my staple shampoo, frustrated that I even wasted my time yet again.
This happened again last night and as I didn't get up to wash my hair until after 10pm, I decided to skip prepooing and therefore thought I would give this shampoo one last try to win me over... I detangled and then went on to wash my hair. I lathered twice, leaving the shampoo on for 2-3 minutes whilst I mixed up my deep conditioner mix before rinsing. Yet again my hair was left with the predictable white residue and I know it's not because my hair needs clarifying as I clarified last week with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo. I had a chuckle because I persevered for months to love this and then lathered with my love Creme of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo which always does the job!
If you read 98% of the reviews for this product from other ladies, you'll find that they have fallen in love with this shampoo but I will not purchase this again. I have left this shampoo by the shower so my partner and son can use it up when washing their hair.

Lol sorry to hear about your experience, I have been eying this shampoo because I am in need of a good sulphate free shampoo but it looks like its out of the running. Ive been contemplating on the con argan oil shampoo and the hydrating shampoo from the straight from Eden line but still haven't decided...

Hey Abbii, I haven't tried the Straight from Eden line Shampoo but can definitely recommend the Con Argan oil shampoo. Love it, will do a review of both the shampoo and conditioner.
DeleteI've tried the Creamy Aloe and it was ok but have never tried this particular shampoo. Based on your review, I think I will pass.
