Product Haul... June - August 2014
Thursday, September 11, 2014
Over the last few months I have made a few random buys, some were replacing empties some totally unnecessary but the product junkie in me just can't leave the store without picking up something new.
Here is what I have bought:
Tiana Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
I bought this extra virgin coconut oil to use for the Coconut Oil Challenge. I'm in love with this oil and use it to pre-poo, mix with my deep conditioners and to oil my scalp. I buy this particular oil from the Health Store Holland Barrett and right now they have a buy one get one half rice offer so I will be going back for more as I also use it to cook with.
Honestly, I have no idea why I bought this product, other than to admit to impulse buying. All is not lost as it can be used as a light protein treatment and so far so good.
Purchased from Boots.
Root2Tip Triple M Miracle Moisture Milk
I came across this product whilst browsing the internet for an alternative moisturiser to S-Curl due to their change of ingredients. I was skeptical about the consistency of this product but bought it anyway. I am currently using this to moisturise my hair and so far so good.
Purchased from Pak Cosmetics
My hair loves this oil, I use it in a pre-poo oil mix or to add to deep conditioners. In the colder months I also use this oil to seal my hair.
Purchased from Holland & Barrett.
Almond Oil
I use almond oil to mix with my deep conditioner. The last Oil I had lasted over a year as I either add a few drops to deep conditioners or I create a oil mix.
Purchased from local supermarket.
L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Conditioner
I wanted to try a conditioner which contained ceramides so picked this up from Boots on my lunch break one day and remember itching to get home after work to test it out. I have tried it once to pre-poo and loved the results. I will use it a few more times before I do a review.
L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Hair Masque
After purchasing the above Conditioner and loving the way my hair felt, I had to go and buy the masque to give it a try.
Purchased from Boots.
Glycerine
With Autumn soon arriving and Winter following suit, I purchased some Glycerine which I use to create moisturising mists my new growth and to add in black tea rinses.
I have been looking at hood dryers for quite a while and decided to go ahead and buy one for when my new growth sets in and ponytail roller-sets become my best friend. I bought this on eBay which I won for £20.88 and postage was £8.50. I love a bargain!!
Next on my Purchase List:
- Gro Aut Oil
- Aunt Jackies Deep Conditioner
- Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment
- Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructor
- Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment
- Curlers & Clips
- Mane & Tail Detangler
