Sunday 3rd January 2016
Sadly the festive season is over and it is time to go back to work, here is my first wash day for 2016.

Saturday night

I pre-pooed my hair with extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin coconut oil on Saturday
evening and then left in overnight.

Sunday Morning
On Sunday morning I shampooed with Crème of Nature Moisture & Shine shampoo, lathering twice then towel dried for 2 minutes to rid of any excess water before applying Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor to the length of my hair, covered with a plastic cap and left on for 15 minutes whilst I made a coffee then rinsed.

I went on to deep condition my hair with Crème of Nature Intensive Conditioning Treatment sealed with extra virgin olive oil, covered with a plastic cap and then sat under the hood dryer for 30 minutes then rinsed once cool.

I t-shirt dried my hair for 30 minutes and then separated my hair into four sections. Then section at a time I applied my leave-ins; Crème of Nature Straight from Eden Detangling leave-in, Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter Leave-in and sealed with Inecto Pure Coconut Oil Serum. I went on to detangle my hair in the same sections and then air-dried using a satin scarf to lay my edges.

Once 90% dry I removed my scarf, moisturised and sealed with Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter Moisturizer and my avocado oil & lavender JBCO and then put my hair in a loose bun whilst chilling around the house.

In the evening to go out for a meal I put my hair in a loose twist and ponytail style...

  3. The hair’s natural oil binds to the hydrocarbons in car exhaust, sulfites, and metals, which, in combination with the oil, coats the hair.
